Solution 1: Run The Computer In Safe Mode
Download the Norton application from the official Norton website.
Install the application on the Windows computer; if the blue screen appears, exit all the programs on the computer.
Now type Run in the search bar, which is present on the left-side corner.
You can also press the Windows+R keys to open the Run dialog box.
In the Run dialog box, type ‘msconfig’ and press Enter. If you see the User Account Control window, click Yes.
In the System Configuration window, click safe boot.
Select Network in the boot tab and click OK.
If you see a prompt to restart the computer, click Restart.
Finally, the computer restarts in safe mode with the network connection.
Now, install the Norton application and see if the blue screen issue has been fixed.
Solution 2: Reinstall Norton Antivirus
Uninstall the Norton antivirus from the computer.
Open the default browser and sign in to your Norton account. If you don’t have a Norton account, click Create a new account and complete the process.
In the Norton Get Started window, click Download Norton.
Click Agree & Download.
Now run or double-click on the downloaded file and install Norton antivirus on your Windows computer; if it prompts, click Continue.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the Norton antivirus installation.
Solution 3: Download Norton Power Eraser
Open the browser and download the Norton Power Eraser software from the official Norton website.
Now double click the downloaded NPE.exe file.
Read the license & agreement and click Agree.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the NPE installation.
Now open the Norton Power Eraser app, select Full System Scan, and click Run Now.
On the app, select Settings > Scan and Log Settings > Include Rootkit scan and then click Apply.
After the scan has been completed, click Restart.
